Staff:
Jason Price, CEO, Lead Visionary
After a stellar career of over-achievement, being voted ‘most likely to succeed by default’ in high school and ‘best when passive aggressive’ in college, Jason Price hatched the vision of rentalpuppy.com’s business plan while complaining of a lack of material wealth.
A natural leader, Jason himself will tell those captivated by his charisma, ‘Jason is at his best when he is giving orders.’ Jason’s capitalistic mantra, which he is currently trade marking and will license globally is: "Believe. Achieve. Receive." He is already working on his memoirs, which he anticipates will be self published.
Stacey Scoggins, VP, Visionary Support Specialist
Ms. Scoggins also has a legacy of success, having been voted "Most Perky" in Grammar School, Junior High, High School and College, the first known ‘clean sweep’ in the "Most Perky" category. She was also voted most perky in her Sorority and she is also working on a “How-To” book, “How Perk Can Work...for You!”
Originally a graphic artist specializing in interior design, Stacey pulled together the business plan for rentalpuppy.com and made the clinching presentation to Obfusk & Doop Investment Group, their chief financial backers. Incredibly perceptive, Stacey excels at translating Jason’s visionary impulses from conceptualization to execution. She was quoted once in Tech Brand 2-Day saying, “I do know vision when I see it.”
Chuck Widlap, Vice President. Operations, Platforms, Research, Bus-Dev, Global Sales, Founder
Mr. Widlap brings a unique perspective to rentalpuppy.com’s business units. He is famous for asking fearless, probing questions at key moments where vision-meets-tactical-implementation. Some of his more memorable queries are; ‘what’s that mean?’ and ‘are you sure?’ Chuck is also in the process of securing the services of a ghost writer for his own Management Self-Help book, “Huh?” which will translate his rhetorical style into a series of didactic principles which will help any entrepreneur. In his spare time, Chuck doggedly researches the industry of the male-female dynamic by selflessly going undercover in research efforts to all types of singles clubs, bars, night-clubs and speakeasy’s. In his spare time, Chuck has also been known to watch two entire sit-coms in one hour.
Al Gubley, Director, Business Development, Partnerships, Mergers, Acquisitions and Marketing Officer. Founder
Mr. Gubley also has an inimitable, ineffable, even inscrutable knack for meeting the often elusive challenges of the Internet industry. Known for his understated, trenchant observations, Gubley’s timely insights have resulted in key decisions that have impacted virtually every facet of rentalpuppy.com’s enterprise. He cast the decisive tie-breaking vote when he said ‘Pepsi’ to help the company make its decision on which brand of soda to stock in the company cooler. He also made a recommendation of “thicker” when probed about how he would like the company’s business cards to be altered. Gubley’s best attribute, quite possibly, is his innate ability to bring consensus to the rentalpuppy.com decision making algorithm, usually with deft, decisive nods and other such persuasive affirmations.
Also seeking a ghost writer for his own business management book tentatively entitled, “Sure…” Gubley also tirelessly researches on behalf of rentalpuppy.com’s field efforts with Mr. Widlap. He, too, can watch two entire sit-coms in sixty minutes.
Brandon Tad Wezel: Consultant (Envision, Inc.)
Founder of Envision (pronounced "en-viz-e-own"), a leading, cutting-edge, hi-tech, overly-hyphened consulting firm, Brandon Tad Wezel is known for bold strategies. In his words, recommendations from him ‘flow like effluent water as they comprehensively deconstruct "the box" into a heap of dust and ashes from which the client’s proper and profitable paradigm arises.’
Currently writing his autobiography, “Yes, The Only Thing Better Than My Ideas is…Me!” Mr. Wezel has nominated himself for various Hall’s of Fame, awards and honors.
Investor Group
Obfusk & Doop
Bartholomew Reginald "Barty" Obfusk III and Reginald Bartholomew "Reggie" Doop IV are two established blue bloods whose respective family's blood-lines run right through the heart of the Wall Street. In fact, it was Barty's grandfather, Bart "Barty" Obfusk, Jr. whose comment on the great crash of 1929 still guides the firm's investment policy. "Don't invest in ventures that will threaten the financial security of the firm, unless you know of an Obfusk, or Doop, who wants to live their life without the benefit of a full finger bowl at dinner time."
Having made a $50 million commitment to Rentalpuppy.com, they are impressed by the firm's vision, exit strategy and scalability. They were also impressed by the presentation of Stacey Scoggins and have asked her to come back and entertain, er, present for series C financing.
